Hymie Machet has been a leading and prominent figure in the hardware industry for over 40 years. He started with a small town hardware store and built that business into one of the biggest privately owned retailing ventures in its field - The Santile Group. This year alone the Santile Group will deliver over one hundred million bricks, one million bags of cement and three million litres of paint. Delivering this with one of the largest privately owned and well maintained fleets in South Africa. Numbering over 65 vehicles in total and still growing! Hymie was the man who started it all.
Dani is a trader in the true sense of the word. He has control over the sales to both the DIY customers and some of South Africa's largest construction companies. He has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the company through his ability to statisfy the most

| Gary started in the hardware industry as manager of Santile Krugersdorp. In record time he has built it into one of the largest and fastest growing hardware and paint stores on the West Rand. Again one of Gary's strengths is customer satisfaction and that's helped with a keen eye for detail. He leads from the front and by example. Already at the tender age of 21 he has proven to be a valuable asset to the group. |

| Jason runs turnkey Transport, the vehicle logistics division of the business. Under his strong leadership everything runs smoothly and quickly - as it has to. His no nonsense approach makes him a cornerstone in the business. If it's bricks to Jeffery's Bay or paint to Gaborone, it'll get there on time and it'll get there intact. |
| |
| Ryan's forte is his eye for detail which extends from the shop floor to the company's financial statements. He has taken charge of all financial aspects of the groups' business. After graduating from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BSC (Bldg) he went on to complete his masters in Engineering. Spending a further 5 years in the property development industry. This first hand experience has given him extensive insight into what to expect from a supplier and helped us fine tune our retail offering. |

The Machet family's dream is to take this winning formula, in the shape of the new venture and duplicate it througout South Africa and its bordering countries. |

Alan and Mark also have a similar success story to tell. They started their photographic retail business over 21 years ago. Opening one shop after another until the chain exceeded 20 stores and 300 linked franchised stores. Eventually being bought by a listed company.
Having acquired the Paint Logix chain of paint stores, the Reeves brothers saw an opportunity to enhance the businesses potential but needed a successful and strategic
partner to implement this vision. |
|
Never an easy task they spent nearly a year searching for the right people to create the perfect partnership.
Hymie Machet and his 4 sons were also on the look out for the right opportunity decided to bring their talent and vast experience to the mix and so a new "baby" was born. A new business backed by a phenomenal wealth of retail experience. |
