DIY Bathtub Tray
There are simple things in life like a nice bubble bath after a long day that helps you unwind and feel relaxed. Learn how to make your own DIY bathtub tray for you to use as either a place for your book or rest your glass of wine on while you enjoy your nice warm bubble bath
.
You will need:
- A plank of wood
- Sandpaper
- Screws
- Varnish colour of your choice
- Sealer paint
- Handles of your choice
- Saw
- Drill
- Measuring tape
Method:
- Measure your plank of wood to the width of your bathtub.
- Using your saw cut the plank of wood to the desired size of where you marked it. Decide if you want to have a wide tray or narrow tray.
- Once you have cut your plank of wood, sand paper all sides of the plank for a smooth finish.
- Take your vanish colour of choice and paint all sides of the plank of wood once dry paint a coat of the sealer paint, this is will protect the wood of the moisture of the bath water.
- Once the wood is completely dry, drill in holes and screw in your handles.
- When complete place over the bathtub, you can decorate this by placing a candle or your favourite bubble bath on display.
